Use the Literacy-Rich Environments Checklist, linked above, as you search around the internet for many pictures of preschool classrooms (or even preschool outdoor spaces). Check off the boxes in the checklist or just keep notes as you find or don’t find items.
Then write a standard “Summary & Reflection” (like you do for Reading Assignments) and submit it here.
For the Summary, write about some of the interesting things you found or didn’t find. Then, for your Reflection, write about your opinions: Which items were common? Which were not seen in pics very often? Why do you suppose this is? What do you think would be important to include in a literacy-rich preschool classroom environment if you were the teacher?
